With production there are some very simple rules for video.

1:  Try to have the camera person at the rehearsal, if you have one.

2:  If outdoors, have the sun at the back or side of the video camera.

3:  If different speakers speak make sure they know where the sound for the camera is coming from.

4:  If anything out of the ordinary for the event, is happening at the event and needs to be captured. Let the camera person know so that they will not be out of position.

5:  Use two or more wireless microphones.

6: With DVDs becoming more the norm there very important things to know.
There are several types of DVDs and DVD players out there and they are not all alike. Some of the different types are  DVD+, DVD-, DVD R, DVD RW and Glass Mastered. Although there are many differences, the biggest of which is, Glass Mastered is the ONLY TYPE that WILL play in any DVD player. DVD-R is the most widely used, however they will only play in an Apple Compatible DVD player. For a list of compatible players contact us. 1-877-686-3686

7: Ask your Videographer about the equipment that will be used. Not only to shoot but also to edit with!

8. Ask how long after the event will the finished product be delivered.

Most of all;
PLAN FOR THE UNEXPECTED
